- Pot - total amount of chips that the winner receives,
- Rake - percentage of the pot that the house receives,
- Dealer(Button) - describes the position from which the cards are dealt will. (Rotates clockwise after each hand),
- Small-Blind - Describes the first position after the dealer. He obliges to place a blind bet before dealing cards,
- Big blind - describes the second position after the dealer. He commits to doubling the small blind bet and placing it before any cards are dealt,
- Stack - Total value of chips that a single player has in front of them,
- Blind Bet - Describes betting without knowing the cards,
- All-In - Describes when a player bets their entire stack,
- Ante - Describes the bet that the house of Every player receives Dealer's Choice before every card is,
- Dealer´s Choice - describes the game type, that every player, if he has the button, can decide which game type is played.

Poker is all about making the best possible 5-card combination. Exactly which one depends on the individual poker game type. Poker is played with a "deck". The possible card combinations are, in descending order:
- Five of the same kind = 4 identical cards (e.g. 4 jacks, 4 aces, 4 twos, etc.) + joker
- Royal straight flush = combination of ten, jack, queen, king, ace in the same suit
- Straight flush = Combination of 5 consecutive cards of the same suit
- Four of a kind = 4 identical cards (e.g. 4 x four, 4 x jack, 4 x king, etc.)
- Full house = combination of three of a kind and pair (e.g. 3 x jack + 2 x ace or 3 x two + 2 x six)
- Flush = 5 cards of the same suit (all spades, all clubs, all hearts or all diamonds)
- Straight = 5 cards in a row, suit does not matter. Ace can be either low or high.
- Three of a kind = 3 cards of the same type (e.g. 3 x Jack) and two more that are not a pair.
- Double pair = 2 pairs of cards (e.g. 2 x jack + 2 x ace) and one additional card
- Pair = 1 pair of cards (e.g. 2 x king) and three additional cards
- High card = combination of five different cards, where the highest card wins (only relevant if no one has a pair or better)
